About Me
I first tried Reflexology after a car accident left had both my legs with severe oedema. The results were so impressive that I decided to train as a practitioner. I completed the course at The Chiltern School of Reflexology in 2002 which was a Teaching School for the Association of Reflexologist in Buckinghamshire. The Course included not only Reflexology but, Anatomy and Physiology and Business Studies. My tutor was Anne Abadgian, who had 20 years Reflexology and teaching experience.
I'm a full Member of the Association of Reflexologists. I am an authorised member of the Vertical Reflexology Therapy (VRT) Network. Since qualifying I have attended numerous courses and workshops to further develop my skills including Subfertility, Maternity, Cancer, pain and mobility.
Soon after qualifying my journey with Reiki Usui and lately with Karuna began and I am now a Reiki Master.
I was aware of how good the Bowen Technique was about a year after qualifiying in Reflexology, but it hasn't been until relatively recently that I started my training and qualified and I am enjoying it very much and I know my clients are too. I've had some excellent results using it.
All of these lovely therapies complement very well with the Limelight Flower Essences, which are really quite extraordinary and are made by an amazing therapist called Rosemary Hanson. I have been very privileged to have been at the "birth" of some of these wonderful essences and have seen the effects that they have.
In addition to these therapies, I am also qualified to practice Tsuboki and Continental Face Massages, Indian Head Massage, Hopi Ear Candling, La Stone Sole Therapy and Seated Upper Body Massage, offering a wide range of different therapies to meet my clients needs.
I abide by the Code of Practice and Ethics of the Associations to which I belong and continue my Professional Development by attending various courses and workshops throughout the year. This ensures that I keep up to date with current developments and techniques with Health Care Professionals such as Midwives, Physiotherapists and specialists in Cancer Care.
I work mainly from my practice, although mobile visits can be done and I'm happy to do pamper evenings, charity events, work place visits and Fund raising for good causes.
I am also a volunteer therapist at the Rushymead Day Centre Hospice treating the guests who have conditions such as MS, Stroke, Parkinsons Disease and Cancer.
Please call 01494 874297, weekdays 9am to 6pm, for a no obligations discussion of your needs.
